James M Kirkham - President of Central States Mission
New President Of L. D. ^Mission •Will Be Honored Mr. and Mrs. James M. Kirkham, ho will leave soon to preside over the L, D. S. east central states mission, will be honored at a testimonial Monday at 8 p. m. in the Thirty- first L. D. S. ward hall, it was announced Saturday. Officers of the Genealogical society of Utah, of which Mr. Kirkham is a director, and the genealogical organization of Liberty stake, of which Mr. and Mrs. Kirkham are residents, are sponsors of the meeting. A. W. Ivins, of the first presidency if the church, president of the Genealogical society of Utah, and other directors of the society, will speak, C. S. Martin, Liberty stake genealogical representative, also will address the gathering. Musical selections will include vocal solos by Lynn S. Richards, trio numbers by Dolly W. Barlow, pianist; A. Clifton Jacobsen, .cellist, and Hoss J. Ramsey, violinist; whistling solos by Mrs. Barber, and vocal duets by C. C. and Earl H. Martin. The program will conclude with dancing. Archibald F. Bennett, secretary of the Genealogical society of Utah, is chairman of the committee in charge. No meetings of senior and junior ward genealogical organizations of Liberty stake will be held Monday.
