Death of Alexander M. Hamilton Mr. Hamilton "wa9 called away by death last Thursday morning, March 9th, after an illness which had continued since the autumn of 1903, when a sudden cold soon developed into consumption. He was born in Scotland on the 5th day of October, 1865, and removed to America, when a child, with his parents, both of whom died in the state of New York. In 1896 he came to Waterloo, where he was married to Miss Cora Beidler, June 2, 1897.v One little son, - aged five years, and his widowed mother are survivors. The funeral services were held at the residence of Mr. S. W. Beidler, tbe father-in-law of Mr. Hamilton, last Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock, conducted by. Rev. David Street, of the Presbyterian church. TwoJteau-tiful funeral songs were sung by Mrs. Martin Miser. The burial services were conducted by the Masonic order of which Mtj, Hamilton was a mem ber, and the Interment was in the the Waterloo cemetery, Wm. Ettinger funeral director in charge. Mr. Hamilton had won many friends by his friendly and genial disposition who will miss him greatly. Tbe be- - reaved family have the sincere sympathy of the community.
