Immediately after the wreck occurred, Trainmaster Wells, of this city, was notified and a special engine and car were sent to the scene. General Superintendent Garrett was sent to his home in Jenklntown, to which place he was taken by way of Birdsboro. While his injuries are not serious, he will be confined to his home for some weeks. During the afternoon Superintendent Turk, Engineer Bradford and Fireman Rocktashel were brought to this city. What caused the engine to leave the rails is not known. The place where the wreck occurred Is one of the sharpest curves on the Wilmington division.
