Rural Division Heads Announced For United Fund The rural division chairmen for this year's United Fund drive are Oma Jones, Jefferson County Extension Advisor, home economics, and Ron Cornwell, Cornwell, Jefferson County Extension Extension Advisor, agriculture. Both division chairmen are with th* UnlvcrsiU' of Illinois Cooperative Extension Service and have volunteered to head . this year's drive in the rural areas of Jefferson County. The extension advisor's role is to provide help to farm families families throughout Jefferson County County in various ways. The 4-H Club sponsored by the Cooperative Extension Service, Service, University of Illinois College College of Agriculture, is one of the projects for which Mrs. Jones and Cornwell act in an advisory capacity. The 4-H maintains its services to youth through the support of volunteers and cepends upon , contributions through the United Fund. Over 500 youths in Jefferson County participated in 4-H last year.
