a a 45 Union D., Mrs. and of Mrs. Mary Williams Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Bell Williams, 91, of 320 Crescent Rd., formerly of Whitby, will be conducted Monday at 3 p.m. in the Mortuary Chapel with the Charles S n e e d officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park. Mrs. Williams died in a local hospital Friday at 11:30 following a long illness. Born at Lego. June 3. 1878, she was a daughter of the John and Roena Bolen Cole. A life-long resident of Raleigh Countv. she was a member of the Whitby Methodist Church She was preceded in death by her husband, William Lewis Williams, Aug. 8, 1918, and a son, Cline, June 18, 1964. Survivors include a son, D. D., Beckley; a daughter, Violet Fink. Whitby: three brothers. Kelly, Rhodell, Fred, Crab Orchard, and Morris Piney View; four sisters. Mrs. Flora ( I d a ) Hawley, Mrs. George (Nancy) Duppee, Rhodell. Mrs. Grover (Ada) Wallace, Beckley, and Mrs. Lewis (Lessic) Thompson, Ridge; a grandson, two great- grandchildren, and a great great-granddaughter. The body will remain at the funeral home where friends may call after 5 p.m. today. Pallbearers will be Robert Sayc. B. B. Allen, Clifford Warden, Clarence Webb, Paul Shanks, and Dick Lowe.
