Walter Cottom called at Gill Edgar's Wednesday at noon. Irene, Mabel and Lorene Edgar were sick with the mumps last week, but are some improved. Abe Speith and daughter, Miss Glaclvs. spent Thursday with Mr. and Mrs. John Speith of Sato. Miss Beulah Koen returned home with them. Theodore Hecke and Arthur Woodkey called at Gill Edgar's Tlumsday night. Church at Denmark Sunday night was not very well attended on account of bad roads. Several from this vicinity went fishing Friday night. John Speith -and John Edgar Jr. went to. Willisville Saturday evening to tend the stock and chickens of Mr. and Mrs. Ray Speith, while they made a short visit in Mis- j souri with her brother, and sister- in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Nesbit.
