MRS. IDA (DOWNEY) POTTS, 88 died at 10:30 o'clock yesterday morning the home of her daughter, Mrs. Mary Snyder, 311 Liberty St., Blairsville, with whom she resided. She lived in Indiana until a year ago. She was born May 4, 1858, in Westmoreland County, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Downey. She is survived by six children—Mrs. Mary Snyder and Samuel and John Potts, all of Blairsville; Mrs. Ollie Caccai- tore Indiana; Mrs. Barbaria Speers, Akron, O., and Mrs. Sara Belle Ross, Bellwood, 111 . There also are 17 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren. She was a sister of Mrs. Maggie Lemon and Mrs. SadieEchen- rod, both of Latrobe; Lewis Downey, Segers; William Downey, Erie, and John Downey, Kansas City, Mo.— Friends will be received after 2 p. b. today in the Bell Funeral Home, Indiana.
