at who, give honorary for June 1 Third Ward School By JO ANN HADSELL Christopher Mallory, who spent the winter in Arizona, has returned to the First and Second Grade room of the Third Ward School. Don Lee Mclntyre of Sixth is absent because of mumps. Charlene Cosco, June Van Houtte and Betty Bennett, Sixth Grade, making a tent for a clay circus project which the class is making. The Sixth Grade has new Pennsylvania geography books. David Johnson, Edward Gallup and Tom McDowell, Sixth Grade, are practicing for a play to be presented before a Kiwanis Club meeting. Carol Hsne and Larry Richmond of Sixth Grade were absent due i'lness. Pam Smith, Tom Britton and Sandra Motto, Fifth Grade, are absent from school with mumps. Amanda Harmon, Fifth Grade, has a broken bone in her foot. The Fifth Grade made animals and displayed them at the school's art exhibit. Seven children of the Fifth Grade went to the Carnegie Public Library Friday. They were Jim Sundahl, Jennette Hand, Sue Bayer, Judy Vanerstrom, Bill Henderson, Fred Stock and Kathleen Knapp.
