The lights will flash the new name on the entertainment horizon and flash into the night the name of the community for which sents Eastview. The management of the Eastview Amusements Limited have brought a fine new theater to the community a theater which Eastview can point with pride. The modest exterior of the building almost belies the beauty and excellence of the interior. As you enter the first lobby walls finished with a new processed veneer, panelled with chrome stripping, produces a rich and entirely new effect. Overhead, a new system of lighting gives brilliance and sparkle to the bright new interior. The Inner lobby presents a vitrolite fireplace in black and yellow with full length mirrors. Walls and ceilings are finished In pastel shades blended together to create a soft and rich atmosphere. Entrances from both ends of the inner lobby take you into the main auditorium with its ceilings and walls finished in soft pastel shades in a blend of colors treated with indirect lighting which creates a beautiful soft and comfortable atmosphere. The tiered ceiling and interior color scheming is a tribute to the skill and planning of Mr. Gordon Fairbairn, well known local artist. Back of the main auditorium are the elevated loges to complete a total seating capacity for more than 600 patrons. The entire floor sloped to a greater degree, assures perfect visibility from all seats in the main auditorium and loges. New deluxe "Airflow" spring cushioned seats assure the ultimate in comfort. Thick red carpets along the aisles eliminates any-disturbing noises during the performance. The shining new RCA Photophone Sound System with Di-Phonlc speakers assures the finest in sound reproduction. Greater light to the screen is created through new features embodied in the Arc lamps.
