Graeme Francis Moffat March 11, 1921 - January 25, 2006 On Graeme 'Wednesday, Francis January 25, 2006, Dr. Moffat passed away at Saskatoon City Hospital. Graeme was born and raised on a farm near Frobisher. Stricken with polio at the age of three his life exhibited a quiet determination to meet life's challenges head-on. He attended university in Saskatoon and Guelph, graduating in 1947 with his degree in. Veterinary Medicine. He •established a rural practice centered around Asquith, where he met and married Estelle Summach on July 7, 1948. They were married nearly .53 years at the time of her death in .2001. In 1963, Graeme joined the Health of Animals and was a federal meat inspector until his early retirement about 1983. Graeme and Estelle enjoyed traveling, friends and family in their retirement years in Abbotsford, BC and Saskatoon, SK. Graeme leaves to celebrate his life, and to mourn his passing: sons, Rick (Carole) of Lewisville, TX and Lori (Lorrie) of Saskatoon, SK; daughter, Jackie (Al) Farrell of Saskatoon, SK; grandchildren: Cara-Lee (Brandon) Alford of Cavalier, ND, Nori-Lyn (Brian) Alford of Frisco, TX, Matt (Laurel) Moffat of Lewisville, TX, Robin (Duane) Peters of Saskatoon, SK, Colin and Natalee Moffat of Saskatoon, SK, Lavonne, Leisha and Jonathan Farrell of Saskatoon, SK: sister, Janet Hume of Carlyle, SK; brothers-inlaw. Manley (Joyce) Summach, Fred (Laureen) Summach and George Seymour, all of Saskatoon, SK, and Kenneth (Doris) Summach of Kelowna, BC; sisters-in-law, Shirley Moffat and Olive Summach, both of Saskatoon, SK, Shirley (Ted) Forsyth of Kelowna, BC, Joyce Summach of Saskatoon, SK, and Binnie Summach of Calgary, AB. Graeme was predeceased by his brother, Herb E Moffat: sisters, Claire in infancy, and Annie (Clarence) Harvey; brothers-in-law, Emerson, Delbert, Mac (Verna) and Harvey Summach; and sister-in-law, Muriel Seymour. The family gratefully acknowledges the blessings and care provided to Dad by Lillian McHargue, the staff Caleb Manor, and the ICU units of St. Paul's and Saskatoon City Hospitals who pampered and cared for him in his final years. Memorial Service will be held on Monday, January 30, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. at Emmanuel Baptist Church (1636 Acadia Drive, Saskatoon, SK) with Rev.
