Schoolrooms to cost $1,327,000 School additions to cost an estimated $1,327,000 in 1967 have been approved by the Separate School Board. The new rooms will serve six pairs of elementary schools, each pair consiting of a bilingual and an English- language school on the same property, Marguerite Bourgeoys School at 839 Quinlan Rd. will gain two classrooms and a library. St. Leo's School, 860 Colson will also gain two classrooms and a library. Both will share a new general purpose room for gymnasium activities and assemblies. Two classrooms and a li brary will be added to St. Michael's School on Bernard St. A new general purpose room will serve both this school and St. Laurent School at 1116 St. Laurent Blvd. Estimated cost is $175,000. Architect is Thaddeus Konopacki. St. Victor's School on Brookfield Rd. and Lamoreux School will be linked by two new classrooms, two libraries, and one general purpose room. Estimated cost is $178,000. Architect is Roger Thibault. Notre Dame de la Presentation School at 1151 River Rd. and St. Ignatius School will be linked by a general purpose room. St. Ignatius will gain four classrooms and a library. Auguste Martineau is the architect. Estimated cost is $175,000. The old section of Holy Rosary on Duhamel St. will be demolished.
