J. Bog'gs, game Warden, of Kent county, of near Cheswold, died yesterday imoroing at the Laurel, Md Sanitarium, after several weeks Illness. Young Boggs who was a sophomore at Dover High School was operated on shortly after Christmas, and had not been in good health since that time. Funeral services will be held from the home of his parents Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock, with interment at Lakeside cemetery, Dover, Several classes of Dover High School have presented trees to the school wrhich have been planted on the campus. The senior class gave a Norway maple, presented by Dorothy Mercer.

The junior class gave a Norway maple presented by Phillip Roeder. The freshman class, section 1, gave an arbor vitae, presented by-Pat Dyer and freshman No. 2, gave an arbor vitae, presented by Ruth Massey. The sophomore class gave Norway spruce, presented by Graham Dill and sophomore class No. 2, gave a Norway spruce presented by Iris Wilson.

Both eighth gTade classes presented the school with arbor vitae. Last evening was "Ladles' Night" with Union Lodge, A. F. and A. and the affair was held at Sesqul Inn, north of Dover.

An Interesting program was given. Harry C. Mc-Sherry, worshipful master of Union Lodge waa toastmaster. Musical selections were given by Mrs. W.

D. Burton and Joseph Hos-kins, with Mrs. J. Henry Hazel, as accompanist. Instrumental music was furnished by I.

T. Merrill and James Merrill. Dr. Edgar Fahs Smith who was to speak was unable to attend because of Illness. Professor Arthur W.

Holmes, of the University of Pennsylvania, made an address. Singing for the evening was led by Russell Wilson. The Governor through the press of the State desires that all schools properly observe the week'and that parents visit the schools to hear music lessons or special musical programs. He asks churches to feature the week by special music and requests that wherever practicable union services with especial attention to developing congregational singing be urged. Social clubs are asked to arrange special prcgrams of American music and the singing of America's traditional songs. will be the speaker at People's Christian Church, Sunday evening. Ira Bowens, colored, charged with threats against Alden Wilson, was held in $300 bail for Superior Court by Magistrate E. F. Wood yesterday. He was also given 20 days in Kent county jail in default of fine and costs for disorderly conduct.

The Ministerial Convention of Maryland, Delaware and Virginia, will convene in the Pilgrim Holiness Church, Dover, May 1, 2 and 3, There will be an evangelistic service held during the meetings. The Rev. E. R. Clough is pastor in charge of the Dover Church where the convention will hi held.
