Arthur Bradsher, one of the founders of The Order of the 'Tombs", speaks at meeting in Durham.

The Tombs was the strongest organization on the Trinity/Duke University campus from 1903 to 1942. Arthur Bradsher was the principal founder of the Tombs in 1903. It was formed to support athletics, school spirit and sportsmanship surrounding these events. Other goals of the Tombs was to promote the growth of intramurals and the betterment of relations with other schools Trinity competed against. Tombs morphed into the Varsity club at Duke in 1944.
