which residents estimated to be five Submarine Dives, 25 On Deck Nearly Drown HONOLULU. May 22. (AT P.) An unheralded maneuver gave the "gobs" of the submarine S-28 S-28 S-28 the thrill of their lives during exercises a mile off Lahaina. it. became known at Pearl Harbor today. The entire crew was on deck when the sub marine suddenly took a dive, the 25 members of the crew being carried under water. Four or five of them could not swim, but were kept afloat by their comrades. The submarine soon emerged and picked up the men. It is said an order had been misinterpreted. There were no casu alties.
