Myler Were Sabmftted and Adopted, i A meeting bf the A116n County Bar AssoclaUon was held In the court room yesterday afternoon, the meeting being called for the purpose purpose of taking action regarding tho death of Representative E. W. Myler, Myler, a member of the bar. A number of the lo6al lawyers, made short talks, telling of Mr. Myler's life, his characteristics, and of their associations with him 4hlle as an attorney in lola. A committee committee had been appointed to draw up atesolutlon upon the death of their departed member. The following are the resolutions that were sub- inltted and adopted at the meeting yesterday: Whereas It has pleased the Su- reme Judge of the Supreme Conrt of the XJnlverse' to summons our. Brother, Honorable Eniberson V.'. Myler, late of our Bar. to his Bar above, we bow in sorrow to the lean. Honorable Emberson W. .Myler was .born at Cumberland County !n Illinois, on the fourth day of January. January. A.. D., 1862, was admitted to the Bar of this Allen County, Kansas, Kansas, in June, 1898, and was an honored honored and respected member until the date-bf Jifs call above, on Aug- «8t 14th. A. D., 1923, and * Whereas we heard of his* de^th with profound regret. Ave with deep sorrow note his vacant seat in our meeting today, and we hereby tender tender to his grieved widow and chll- ilron our slncerest sympathy, wishing wishing to succor thefn, lhat we could administer to thelt wounded hearts some consolation and. comfort, but In our helplessness we can only point them to the Home of the Blessed -Hereafter, to which he has preceded them by but a brief spanr ot time, and In which they shall meet wither beloved dead.,. And whereas, after a number of years of Intimate acquaintance and close association In the practice at the Bar, we have always known Brother Myler an hottest, upright and courteous member of the profession, profession, of strict integrity, with who it was a pleasure to transact business business in the courts and otherwise, and now that he has passed beyond, we decta it proper and right that we, by suitable resolutions, should exiiress our appreciation-'of hW sterling qualities as a nSemher of: the Bar, as well as that oT 'a loyil . and patriotic citizen.
