Relief Society Reports Show a Large Increase in Disbursements Reports for 1310 submitted by the various committees of the Hebrew Relief Society of Washington at their annual meeting yesterday show that aid had been extended during the year to more Hebrews in destitute circumstances than ever before According to the report of the financial secretary Mayer B Dodek 450 families had been given help extending over an average period of five weeks each 46 Hebrews were set up in business and transportation was furnished to 218 families families to various cities throughout the country In adldtion 3480 was disbursed disbursed to aid the poor of Washington leaving a balance in the treasury of 340 Officers and directors were elected for the ensuing year They are Marcus Korman president Isaac Miller vice president H Dodek second vice nresi dent Mayer B Dodek financial secretary secretary and S Atlas treasurer
