Miss Neva Riek, Texarkana Man Marry in Tokyo A wedding of interest to friends if Denton and Krum was solemnized solemnized Saturday aftrnoon, June 14, in the base chapel of Johnson Army Air Base.', Tokyo, Japan, when Miss Neva Jo Riek, daugh- er of Mrs. Grace M. Rlek and the ate Dalter F. Rlek, became the bride of U. Janus Thomas Parr, son of Mr. and Mrs. T. F. Farr of Texarkana, Ark. Capt. M. H. Wlllard, base chaplain, chaplain, performed the double ring service and Mrs. Raymond Thompson Thompson provided the wedding music. The bride, given in marriage by Col. Ford J. Lauer, base commander, commander, wore an original model of cloud-white marganza over taffeta styled with a drop-shouldtv effect, elongated bodice, cap sleeves and bouffant skirt which extended into a chapel-length train. A bandeau of flowers held in place her veil of Illusion, and she wore mitts which matched her gown and carried carried a white prayer book on which lay a bouquet of white orchids. Miss Peggy Scott, maid-of-honor, wore a grown of blue organza and carried a bouquet of pink carnations. carnations. ' A reception was held after the ceremony at the officers club. U. Farr Is a graduate of the University of Arkansas and the United States Military Academy at West Point.
