Married Club Banco Last evening In tha American Legion Legion Hall the Married Club gave another another one of their delightful dances. A largo number attended nnd enjoyed he very plonsnnt evening. On Dec. 2 tho club will give another dancing party nt tho Legion Hall. 600 Club Moots with Mr. nnfl Mrs. 3. Klenstra A pleasant evening was enjoyed by members of tho COO club who last, night met with Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Klenstra in their homo on Whltclaw avenue. 500 furnished part of the delightful delightful entertainment and after tin games music was enjoyed. Tho serving serving of delicious refreshments conclud ed tho evening. Those winning fnv ors were, Mrs. James Dooley of Alton Mrs. George Hornsey of Alton, M. O Ryan of Alton, George Hornsey nnt James Doloy of Alton. The club wll meet again In two weeks. Attend Meeting In Livingston A number of tho members ot thi American Legion and Auxiliary mo ored to Livingston last night to at- end tho regular meeting of the Mndl- ion county council of the Legion and Auxiliary. Among thono attendlnc were, Mr. and Mrs. Victor Rnnf, Mr. and Mrs. Kmmctt Howard, Francis Manning, Mrs. M. F. Manning, Mr. and Mrs. Paul Schlceper, Miss Catherine Catherine Halloran, Mr. nnd Mrs. Leslie Cottrell, Mrs. Hallie Longmlrc, J. F. Timlin, Robert Breltwclsor, Carl Mann* and Elmer Trout. After business business was disposed of a delightful supper supper and vaudeville entertainment were enjoyed. Then dancing was indulged In for tho remainder of the evening, All gave Livingston Post and Auxiliary Auxiliary a volo of appreciation for their generouB hospitality. To Meet Tonight Tho regular meeting of the Auxtl' inry of tho American Legion will he held tonight at eight o'clock In the Legion Home. After tho usual bust ness mooting refreshments wilt be served. Dinner Guetts Yesterday the Rev, C. W. Webb an<! Mrs. Webb of Madison, 111., motored to Wood River and enjoyed attending tho noon dinner which wa» served by tho Ladles Aid Society of the Firs Baptist church In their church, par lors.
