. . Joseph Grove. On Sunday Joseph Grove died at the home of his son, John H. Grove, near Mapleton, of dropsy and rheumatism. He was aged G2 years, 5 months and 18 days. He was a veteran of the civil war, having served in Company A, Battery B, Light Artillery He was a member of the Presbyterian church of Mapleton and is survived by the following children: Mrs. Annie Long, of Jeannette; Mrs. Maggie Vanallman, Mrs. EUa Hoopes, Mrs. Bertha Brown and Miss Agnes, of Altoona: Mrs. Kate Anderson, of Mapleton; Samuel H., of Duquesne; John H., of Porter township. Also two brothers, Daniel C. and Jackson L., of Shirleysbury, and two sisters, Mrs. Martha J. Ha-mer, Ha-mer, Ha-mer, of McConnellstown, and Kate Grove, of Cromwell township. Mrs. Nancy J. Aiken.
