EDWIN SHAFER. Edwin Shafer died at 1 o'clock today today at his home on South Lumber Street, near Jackson, after a lingering illness, aged about 62 years. He was a veteran of the late war and latterly had been employed at the Terminal restaurant. He was born in Lower Macungie and reared in Allentown. He was a shoemaker and for years fol- fol- lowed tnat traue on tne nencn ana in ; the factories. He is survived by his - widow and five children: YVilluim, I Ot Allen- Allen- Fred, Edward and Maggie, town, and Mrs. Lizzie Tice, of Thurlow.
