CRANE POST TO HOLD SECOND ANNUAL WM CARBONDALE, Aug. 28. The Albert H. Crane Port No. 221, American Lesion, will hold their, second annual picnic at Lake Lodore on Labor Day, Monday, September 5. It is being planned by the various committees Who are hard at work to make this one of the most enjoyable days of the season for the public and it is hoped that a big attendance will be on hand to join with the legion boys to make the daye one of the biggest of the season. There will bo all kinds of athletic events conducted throughout the day. Dancing will be a feature of the day with a well known orchestra furnishing music. Buses will give half hour services from the city building starting at 10 a. m. and continuing until evening. The committees in charge of the affair are as follows: - General chairman, Mlchale F. Munley; treasurer, H. C. Bunnell; chairman of transportation, Homer W. Lee; assisted by Richard Myers, Vincent Connell, Carl Gearhart and Thomas Downs; refreshments. Post Commander R. E.
