FINAL ROLL CALL JACOB ZIMMERMAN SUCCUMBS TO LONG ILLNESS THE FUNERAL FUNERAL ON WEDNESDAY SOLDIER The ranks of the old soldiers were diminished by one more last evening, when Jacob Zimmerman, of Second and Maple streets, died. He had been ill for fifteen months and lung taberculosis was the cause of death. Jacob Zimmerman was seventy-four seventy-four seventy-four years old and was born in Schuylkill county. He had lived in Mount Car-ni-i Car-ni-i Car-ni-i Car-ni-i Car-ni-i fifteen years. He served through the Civil War as a member of Co. I, 50th Regt, P. V. I. He was wounded once in the leg and contracted contracted scurvy while in prison. The widow survives.
