A. the Mrs at The occasion pariotic Mrs. Catherine Hensley, 78 years of widow of the late W.,S. Hensley, at the home of her son, Guy Hensley, 2130 High street, about 11 Wednesday morning. Death was due to asphyxiation. The aged lady for the last two years, had made her home with her Guy. Wednesday morning it appears she arose from her bed for the purpose of filling a water bottle with warm water. In -order to heat the water she had turned on the gas a small heater in her room and after filling the bottle returned to bed. The members of the family, sitting the front porch, detected the odor gas and started an investigation. Opening the door to her bed room they found the woman dead. A physician was called but efforts at resuscitation failed- It appeared that in an attempt to off the gas in the heater the nip- became dislocated. j is survived by two sons, j Hensley of this, city, and Oscar V. Hensley, of Cleveland, O. The funeral will be held this afternoon at 2 o'clock from the residence of her son. 2130 High street, conducted by the Rev. Wirt Lowther, of the M. E. church, assisted by Rev. B. W. Tyler'of the Calvary Presbyterian church. Interment will be made in Mt. Hope cemetery. Study
