Bobcat Teams Set Contests men's BOZEMAN--While the BoDcui basketball team is attracting most of the attention on the campus in speculation about the annual Grizzly-Bobcat series this weekend, three other Montana State College sports teams will be competing in weekend action. Bobcat wrestlers will be at Utah University tomorrow night and Utah State College Saturday night for dual meets. MSC skiers will be taking part in the Northern Rocky Mountain ski meet Saturday and Sunday at Â·Belmont. In addition, the, Bobkitten junior varsity basketball squad is meeting Eastern Montana College's JV cagers here as preliminaries to the MSC- MSU maple series. Dr. Keith Bowen left today with a 10-man wrestling squad on the Utah trip--the first of three successive "traveling weekends" for the MSC matmen. This will be the second and third meets of the year for the Bobcats, who dropped their opener to Colorado Mines by a 22-6 count. Bowen says that MSC entries the Utah tests will be either Delbert Pasha, Bozeman or HLAj Than Win of Mandalay, Burma, 123 pounds; Leroy Gilbertson, Kalispell. at 130; Bob Mitchell, Butte, at 137; Les Polette, Florence, at 147; Everett McGlothlin, Sheridan, Wyo., at 157; Skip Lynch, Highvvood or Marvin Carlyle, Pablo, at 167; Bert Rice, Intake, at 177, and Irvin" Zinnecker, Moore, heavyweight. Meanwhile, Bob Beck .has five men for the two-way meet Belmont, with a probability that several others would join' the quinete. Definitely representing MSC in the Saturday downhill Sunday slalom races will be Oystein Boveng, Phil Rognlien and Dave Clack, all of Kalispell, and Dave Stevens and Hay Sperry of Bozeman. Beck says he plans to watch skiers' performances carefully in order to pick a team who will represent MSC in the intercollegiate meet at Banff, Alta. the following weekend.
