Kltch home on Guilford street Her Illness dates back to a year ago last September, when she was taken down and never fully recovered, although at times she showed marked Improvement. Mrs. Stults was born October 8, 1830, in Berkley county, Virginia, and was aged seventy years, one month and eleven days. She came to this county with her parents ln the year 1848, the I of family locating northeast of this city a few miles, not far from the Marker homestead. Her marriage to Jacob Stults occurred ln 1856. She leaves a daughter, Mrs. Kltch, ope son, S. P. theiStults, and one step - son, M. B. StulU, her husband having died a few years ago. A brother Is Harrison Kennedy, living on the Goshen road, and a sister is Mrs. Mitchell, eighty - six years old and residing In Jasper county. She was a member of the Methodist Church for a period covering forty years, having united with the church at a woods meeting in Clear Creek township. Her membership was with the Clear Creek charge until her removal removal to the city when it was trans ferred to the church here and sue remained remained a loyal and exemplary member to the last. It. would be hard to find a better christian lady, a kinder friend or more affectionate mother. Modest and retiring in her nature, she was always regarded with the highest re spect ln the neighborhood and her memory will stay green in the recol lection of all who knew her. One by one the mothers and fathers of history are leaving ua, and soon all can be seen only in fond memory. Members of the Stulta family are not alone in their bereavement. There are many who can sympathize with them and realize their sorrow at the parting of one so dear as this sainted mother. its of tlve that was of est
