R.A letter dated 12ih ult mentions the destruction of thst place by fire, and adds The loss is estimated at 100,000 dollars. In sddilion to the town, the estate of Don Antonio Vasquez and Son was entirely over - .un by the fire; his sugar miil distillery, negro houses, and all bis standing ca - s were burnt, making his loss about 935,000. .
