Venable Miss Bessie Fitzhugh Venable of 1755 Johnson Road died early yesterday morning in Petersburg General Hospital after a b r illness. A daughter of the late William L. and Mary Lamar Patterson Venable, she was born Cumberland, Md. and had lived in Petersburg most of her life. She was a member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church. She is survived by a sister, Mrs. John Gordon Rennie of Petersburg; two nieces, Mrs. R. Goodykoontz of Bronxville, N. and Mrs. E. A. Gerlach of Petersburg; Petersburg; two nephews, Dr. J. Rennie of North Hollywood, Calif, and W. V. Rennie of Petersburg; and a number of great-nieces and great-nephews. Funeral services will be conducted conducted tomorrow at 11 a. m. the grave in Blandford Cemetery with the Rev. John J. Ormond, rector of St. Paul's Episcopal Church, officiating. The procession will leave from the residence, 1755 Johnson at 10:45 a. m. The family requests that flowers flowers be omitted.
