Pusher planes are not much in favor as fighting planes as the pilot does not have the frontal cover and protection afforded by a tractor motor against rear turret fire from enemy planes. But in some parts of this grand country of ours where rural electrification is now being installed for the first time the housewives are so happy and enthusiastic. Quite a step from an old wood stove to a spotless kitchen with all new electrical gadgets. On a recent trip I saw some wonderful new kitchens and ate some delicious meals cooked on their new electric ranges. Sincerely, P. S.
