] MORAN, Oct. a.—On next Satur- d.Ty evening will occttr one of the ' ~ ~ most Interesting social events of the season when the .Masonic Order assisted by the Ladles of the Eastern' Eastern' Star will meet to do honor to Mr. L. H. Gorrell. who on next Sunday Sunday will celebrate his hundredth birthday. Mr. Gorr*-" is a member of the , Masonic* home family at Wichita and bears the distinction, of being the oldest of the family. The annual report of the O. E. S. proceedings of the state gives honorable honorable mention and carries the photograph of tills aged citizen. Mr. Gorrell was a charter member of the local A. F. A. M. and was a resident here many years and is well remembered by the older people people of the community who are looking looking forward witlj pleasure to the lime of seeing him again. He will come direct from Wichita and will receive a warm fraternal greetir> from those whose privilege it is to extend this courtesy. A program of entertainmsnt in keeping with this unusual and pleasurable occasion occasion has been planned and together together with the fine banquet an evening of rare enjoyment is being being anticipated.
