Uh'ville Man Is Dead At 98 Special To The Reporter UHRICHSVILLE — Albert Newton, Newton, 98, of 424 N. Romig'St,, died in the home of William A. Newton today at 4 a.m. Newton, who was the last member member of his immediate family, was bbrn Nov. 4, 1858, on a farm near Station 15, a son of Isiah and Mary Murray Newton. •• At the turn of the century he opened a tavern at a site near what is now the Fred Fairall Construction Construction Co. on W. 1st St. here. He was in business 23 years and then, at the age of 70, bought a farm. He was preceded in death by two wives, Emma Page Newton and Jennie Blackwell Newton, and two sons. Surviving are five grandchildren, grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and eight great - great - grandchildren. He was a member of Grace Lutheran Lutheran Church. Services will be Sunday at 1 p.m. in the R. K. Lindsey Funeral Home with the Rev. Lloyd Walker Walker in charge. Burial will be in the West Union Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 7 to 9 tonight and 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 Saturday. to of
