Chester D. Simmers. After two days' illness, Chester D. Simmers, son of Conductor J. F. Simmers of the Altoona and Logan Valley Railway company, died at 3 o'clock Saturday afternoon of ptomaine poisoning at the parents' home, 122S Twelfth avenue, East Juniata. It is not known what caused the poisoning. The boy was aged 11 years. 6 months and 19 days. He attended the Keystone public school, Juniata, and the St. John Lutheran Sunday school ot East Juniata. He is survived toy his parents, J. F. and Catherine Fry Simmers, and one sister. Funeral services will be conducted at the home this evening at 7.30 o'clock by the Rev. L. M. Fleck. pa3tor of the St. John Lutheran church. The remains will be taken at 7.23 o'clock tomorrow morning to Glasgow, where interment will be made.
