In the Local News 200 A ttend Reception on Wedding Anniversary More than 200 attended a reception held Saturday afternoon .-fthd evening at the home of Mr. and Mrs. J. Wesley Baltzcr, 210 North James street. The house MAS decorated with white and Wd poinsettias, American Beauty roses and baskets of chrysanthemums. Mr. and Mrs. Baltzer, who were observing their 25th wedding anniversary, were married Dec. 3, 1924, in "First Baptist church in Chicago by the Rev. Mr. M. J. Eagan followed by -\ wedding supper held at the home of Mr. and Mrs. William Cassan of Oak I Park, 111. Mr. and Mrs. Baltzer received many long distance telephone 'calls, telegrams, greetings, gifts and flowers marking the occasion of their 25th anniversary. Mrs. Baltzer wore a dark green lace afternoon dress styled with a V-neckline and side drapery. She wore a gold necklace, a gift of her husband, and a corsage of white gardenias and red rose buds. A silver and white decorated four-tier wedding cake, a bridegroom's dark cake, ice cream, nuts, mints and coffee were served from a table covered with a dark green lace cloth centered with a platter arrangement of Norway pine, silver eucalyptus, red Christmas berries, large white chrysanthemums and red carnations lighted by six large white candles which were pan of the arrangement. Mrs. A. A. Kciser and Mrs. Lester Blodgett poured. Mrs. Allan H. Burch and Mrs. Hans Sorenson, a niece of Mr. Baltzer, assisted in serving the cake. Those pouring and assisting in serving all wore floral corsages. Miss Carolyn Baltzer. only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Baltzer, is attending John B. Stetson university in DeLand, Fla.
