i DISASTROUS TRIAL. While Driving With a Horse She Had Recently Purchased Dr. Krum is Injured. Pottstown, Sept. 21. Dr. Octavia Krum and her driver, Joseph Stein - metz, were thrown from a carriage by a runaway horse on the road leading through the Allen Wells farm, while the doctor was on her way to visit a patient in Chester county. At a sharp turn in the road the carriage was up - s t and the occupants were thrown out. The horse continued on, dragging the broken carriage to Kenilworth, where he was caught by II. C. Hart at the hitter's store. Dr. Krum and Mr. Steinmetz were assisted into Mr. Wells' farmhouse. Dr. Heffner was called in. Doctors Vanllusklrk and Porter arrived later. Dr. Krum's Injuries consist of a bruised forehead and collarbone and Mr. Stein - mi tz was injured about the face and was cut In the leg. Dr. Krum has had the animal only two weeks and she was driving him on trial.
