go to One of the most unusual cases in the county in some time will go before the grand jury. It is the murder charge against John Hrastochan, a Duryea miner. He is charged with killing his daughter two months ago and - placing her dead body on - the railroad tracks, where it was run over by a Lehigh Valley train and badly mangled. Hrastochan was arrested the next day and has since been in prison. A pool of blood was found on the floor of his home and he ap peared indifferent as to his daughter's fate. Ilis face was scratched in a quarrel with the girl. On this evidence the coroner's jury held that he was .responsible for the girl's death and recommended that he tie held. A habeas corpus hearing was held ana Hrastochan re - committed. The case created great excitement in Duryea.
