SAN GORGONIO SEARCH AND RESCUE —Many members of the San Gorgonio Search and Rescue team today hiked into the east slope of San Gorgonio Mountain to scour the area where an airplane crashed March 2, 1957 killing the four occupants. Sheriff's Inspector Willard Farquhar ended a 16-year search for the plane this week. Aboard the. missing Cessna 170 at the time of the crash were Mrs. Marktrie King, 35, Los Angeles, the pilot; her mother, Mrs. Marjorie Kumler, La Jolla;and two friends from England, Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Wierdsma. The Wierdsma's had flown in separate planes to the United States since they had young children.
