Charges Dropped, Singer Released Hackensack (JP) Charges of desertion and non-support non-support non-support against singer Wilfred Williams, leader of the Billy Williams Quartet, were dismissed yesterday. Bergen County Judge Arthur J. O'Dea dropped the charges when attorneys for both sides as sured the court that the singer and his wife, Mrs. Lois Irene Williams Williams of Teaneck had reached a financial support agreement. Mrs. Williams said she did not want to press the charges further. Williams was indicted in March on a complaint by his wife who said he failed to support her and their two children, Sharon, 10, and Leslie, 7.
