Born October »• > 876 *> and Ellen Roop Mervine, he spent all his life in the same vicinity and for the past 43 years lived at the same home and was a member of Spruce Grove Weslyan Methodist Church. Survived by his wife, Catherine Boring Mervine, five sons: William of Niles, Mich.; Calvin, St. Cl&irsvlle, O., Mel v in, Twinfv Rocks, Pa.; "Wilmer, Ebensburg, RD 2; and Arthur, Belsano, Pa.; (a son Leo, is deceased); one daughter, Mrs. Homer -(Lillian) Edwards, Belsano; 25 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, two half brothers, Leo Hill, Chicago, 111., and John Hill of Colver, Pa.; two sisters, Mrs. Elsie McDonald Wadsworth, Pa., Mrs. Cahterine Good, Marstellar, Pa.; one half- sister, Mrs. Robert Keith, Garmon-A town, Pa. Friends will be received at his late home in Belsano, Pa. after 1:00 P.M. Sunday. Services Tuesday, December 1, at 2:00 P.M. in the Spruce Grove Church in charge of : the Rev. Harry Trimble. Inter- merit Spruce Grove Cemetery. Robinson's, Indiana, Pa., in charge of services.
