MRS. ALICE TAYLOR Funeral services were conducted on Thursday at 2:30 p. m. by Rev. D. C. Callahan for Mrs. Alice Taylor, who in a Fort Smith hospital at 7:45 p. m. Sunday, following an illness of , several weeks. Burial was in the Buf- flngton cemetery, by the side of the ('ate John Taylor, pioneer citizen of 1 this county, who passed away several vears a B°- Mrs. Taylor was a member r the Pree WUl Ba P tist church. Taylor's grandsons acted as pall- bearers Taylor came to Indian Terrl- tory with her parents at the age of 15 years. She was married' to John Taylor August 16, 1891 at McKey, Okla. To them were born twelve children, eight of whom survive. Surviving relatives are John Booth Taylor and Mrs. Nancy Ruth Taylor, stepchildren, both of Saliisaw. Six sons and ;twb "daughters, ~Mrs.~ Myrtle Clark, Webber Falls; Felix Taylor, Sal- slsaw; Mark Taylor, Saliisaw, Clifford Taylor, Saliisaw, Roger Taylor, Gans; Sequoyah Taylor, Tulsa; Mrs. Lugie Sanders, Riverside, California; Kelly Taylor, Saliisaw. Forty-eight grandchildren and four great grandchildren survive, as well as three brothers and four sisters. The brothers and sisters are Mrs. Pearl Hamilton, Allen, Okla.; Mrs. Mattie Pierce,* Bonanzo, Arkansas; Mrs/s Lulu Stevens, Eldorado, Ark.; Willie' Oliver, Cleveland, Okla.; Virgil Virgil Oliver, Bonanzo, Ark.; Mrs. Flossie j Woodard, Bonanzo, Ark.; Melton OH- ver of Allen, Ark. .merrier,
