STATUE TO PAUL BUNYAN HAN FRANCISCO. March 17. (UP» Hewn from a huge Sequoia log, a statue of Paul Bunyan, mythical giant of the weeks, carrying hla famed blue ox, now stands at the roadside near Three Hirers, Sequoia Park. The figure of the lumberjacks' lumberjacks' hero, believed the largest sculpture ever made from a single piece of timber, Is the work of Carroll Carroll Barnes, eastern-trained sculptor who lives at Three Rivers. It weighs more than 13 tons.
