Mrs. Margaret Parkinson, Stockton Savanna, 111., April 15.—Mrs. Margaret Chrissman Parkinson, 80, died Saturday afternoon at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Minnie Wlthhart, In Savanna, after a lingering Illness. She had been a resident of Stockton for more than 05 years before coming to Savanna about two years ago. Born in Pennsylvania, Nov. 2, 1845, Mrs. Parkinson came west when a girl with her parents, who settled In Freeport. Following her marriage on Sept. 16, 1866, to I, W. Parkinson, she resided in Willow, 111., and Stockton before coming to Savanna. Surviving are four children, children, Mrs. Wlthhart of Savanna, James and Frank Parkinson of San Dlcgo, Callf.,and John Parkinson of Stockton, 12 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren. Her husband and three children preceded her in death. Funeral services were held this afternoon at the Methodist Episcopal Episcopal church in Stockton. Burial took place In the Stockton cemetery Rev. B. C. Holloway conducted the services.
