Adolph Schuman Golden Wedding Anniversary
PEARL CITY COUPLE TO CELEBRATE GOLDEN WEDDING ANNIVERSARY Mr. and Mrs. Adolph Schuman Married Fifty Years Wednesday Pearl City, 111., Oct. 17—Mr. and Mrs. Adolph Schuman will celebrate iheir golden wedding anniversary on Wednesday, Oct. Ifl, at their home about four miles south of Pearl City. Mrs. Schuman's maiden name was Wilmina Brinkmeier. Mr. and Mrs. Schuman were born in Germany, Mr. Schuman coming to this country when he was five months old, find Mrs. Schuman was Jive years of age when she came here. They both, with their parents, parents, located in this part of the country, and on Oct. 19, 1882, were united in marriage at the Stone church near Loran. Rev. Housman united them in marriage, and since that time they have lived around this vicinity. Mr. and Mrs. Sehuman are the parents of seven children, all of whom are living: Mrs. Linnle Studebaker, Studebaker, Mrs. Came Barklow, Mrs Blanch!: Snetcher. Mrs. Martha Kuhlmeyer, George and Elmer Schuman. of Pearl City, and Mrs. Clara Barnes, of Sycamore. There also art- twelve grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Mr. atul Mrs. Schuman Invite all relatives and friends to call on them. They will receive callers from 2 until 4 o'clock in the afternoon The children and their families will be with them for supper and the remainder remainder of the evening.
