FOURTH REUNION OF RUHKLE FAMILY Pleasant Gathering at Her - shey Closes With Election of Officers Over 200 members of the Runkle family gathered at Hershey Park yesterday for the fourth annual reunion and the register shows that guests ' were present from Virginia and Iowa as well as from Lancaster, Pauphin and Lebanon counties. The family history was given by Colonel 'William M. Runkle, of Phoebus, Ya., who served in the Confederate army during the War of the Rebellion, and A. J. Bowman, president of the. association, presided at 'the meetings, and an address was made by Professor Bowman. The following officers were elected (for the coming year: - President, A. J. Bowman; secretary, Thomas W. Runkle; treasurer, George Runkle, of Lebanon. .George Krall Iwas'elected chairman of the executive 'committee, which was re - elected, and Includes: ; G. Krall, chairman; Mrs. Mary Millar, Harrisburg; Mrs. Harry Spear, lHarrisburg; William Runkle, Harrisburg; Henry Runkle. Lebanon; Clayton Runkle, Lebanon; G. C. Runkle, Lancaster.
