Carl Brial Robbed As lie Loaves Home Carl Brial, 104 North Poplar, reported to police Friday morning that an unidentified, undescrlbed hijacker stuck a gun in his back at 6:10 a. m. and robbed him of $40 in cash. Brial called police headquarters within a few minutes after the robber had departed into the rainy darkness but he could give police little description on which they might base a search. The victim said he was just leaving the house and was locking the door. His back was toward tho street when he felt a robber slick a gun against It and demanded lhal he give up his money. Brial said he had cashed two checks totalling $49 Thursday and had one $20 bill and two $10 bills on his person at the time. Ho said the thug took these and mado his getaway in the darkness. The victim could give no kind of description of the holdup man operating in the early dawn. Police checked possible hangouts open at that hour of the morning but were unable to pick any likely suspects.
