Murray Hamilton managed city dairy aged 88. Mr. Hamilton was born in Kirkcudbrightshire, Scotland. He came to Murray Hamilton, a First World War veteran and longtime dairyman, died Saturday Canada in 1913 and worked on farms in Saskatchewan and Alberta before enlisting and seeing overseas service. He came to Edmonton in 1925, found a job with the Edmonton City Dairy and worked his way up to general manager. Mr. Hamilton was a director of the metropolitan board of the YMCA, Edmonton Exhibition Association and Alberta and Northwest Chamber of Mines. He was also the president of the Edmonton Milk Foundation, Kiwanis and Highland Games Association. He is survived by his wife Nellie, daughter Lois Fisher of Edmonton, son and daughter-inlaw, Don and Jean Hamilton of Edmonton, seven grandchildren, one great- randdaughter and one sister, Elizabeth Prior of Irma. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. today in the Knox Metropolitan United Church, 8307 109th St.
