written of the town of San Leandro Its favored location climate soil and other natural advantages I make it one of the most desirable residence spots in Alameda county It has never had a real boom and probably its citizens have no desires in that direction Its growth however has been steady and healthy and new acquisitions are constantly being made its delightful residence community Within the past at the last term he did not feel satisfied to rest from his labors but at once set to work in his own home In the pleasant town of San Leandro to establish a business for which his training ami financial abilities fitted him and for which there has been a long stand ing demand in the community It was the establishing of a bank the first one founded in the town and known as the Bank of San Leandro The bank is located at the corner of Hay wards and Ward avenues in a building which has been thoroughly remodeled and arranged for this purpose and supplied with everything required in a
