Caroline and Jerry Johnson of Elmore, and Art Riedel of Algona. Third Fire Eight Mo. A farm home 8 miles northeast of Burt was about 50 per cent destroyed by fire Friday morning. The house was occupied by the Glen Parcel family, and this was the third fire'there in eight months, A farm home which the family lived in about 3 1/2 miles northeast of Algona was completely destroyed by fire about 2 years ago. The call to the Burt fire department came about 10:15 a. m. Mrs. Parcell, working in the kitchen and alone in the house, heard a noise upstairs and upon investigation discovered the fire.
