The installation exercises and program for the newly elected pastor of the Salem Lutheran church of Audenried, Rev. Walter H. Guig-ley, will take place on next Friday evening, October 27. The installation exercises will be held in the social roms of the church. The visiting clergymen who will attend will be: Rev.

WPA Drops 461 Men Who Walked Out The Works Project Administration today had dropped from its rolls 464 project workers in Northumberland county, who walked out, demanding higher pay and threatened to dismiss more. State WPA headquarters said "351 are still protesting" and will be dropped when they have been absent for five work days. A new WPA regulation requires that all employes who voluntarily absent themselves from work for more than five consecutive work days, without valid excuse, must be fired. The condition of Michael Lyman, son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph A. Lyman, of Tamaqua and Blaine streets, McAdoo, who suffered burns of both legs last Saturday, when he was burned by matches as his knickers caught fire, is much improved. He is being treated by Dr.
