Collections from the meters in January of 1965 totaled $979.96, as compared with $1,328.03 last year; February of 1965 had a total of $942.15, compared with $1,205.31 in 1964. March In 1965 saw collections at $989.43, compared with $1,396.37 in 1964. Collections in April increased and were $1,193.43 this year, with $1,112.90 last year. May this year was only a bit under last year, with $1,051.38 this year and $1,065.56 in 1964. June collections amounted to $1,379.08 in 1965, compared with$1,352.55 last year. Collections for the whole of 1964 were $14,652.13, with the total to July 1 this year at $6,535.43. Fines in January of 1965 were $230.86; February, $262.97; March, $317.63; April, $457.20; May, $260.71; and June, $355.76. In 1964, fines for January were $275.70; February, $294.74; March, $343.64; April, $338.93; and June, $413.96. The total in fines to July 1 this year totaled $1,885.13, as compared with $3,890.90 for the whole of 1964. Disbursements for 1964 totaled $12,557.61 and are expected to be approximately the same for this year. Total for the first six months of 1965 was $7,607.70. These include salaries, supplies, insurance, taxes and repairs. On Bowling Comm. Paul Bernhard of Fenton is one of the members of the state Farm Bureau bowling committee that has arranged the 1965-66 tournaments, one of which will be held at Algona Lanes.
