Upper Des Moines Tuesday, August 3, 1965 Council Minutes COUNCIL MINUTES The City Council met in adjourn session with Mayor Finn and the following named council members: Muckey, Andreasen, Miller, Elbert and Peirce. Absent: Cook. This meeting was held July 21, 1965. Dale Kleingartner came before the council with a request to construct a steel structure building at the Cargill, Inc. site at 419 S. Phillips. This request was approved. After considerable study on the 1966 budget it was moved and seconded that the preliminary budget be adopted, published and set Aug. 11, 1965 at 8:00 o'clock p.m. for the public hearing here at the city hall.
