And the return of Mary Tyler Moore and Dick Van Dyke to weekly television drew a yawn from the audience. Last week was the first "real" week does this script. One character does not a TV show make, so Murph has been teamed up with a sexy young roommate, played by Maggie Han, with whom he can trade one-liners in an embarrassing attempt to capture some of the chemistry of "Moonlighting." THE NAME FITS: A new ABC series called "Murphy's Law" arrives tonight and, yes, everything about it that could go wrong does. George Segal stars as the title character, a rumpled, world-weary, down-on-his-luck, recovering alcoholic wisecracking private eye (now there's an original idea for a character) who, it will not surprise you to learn, is always known as Murph.
